Prof. Padmavathy Dhillon is an Assistant Professor in the HRM & OB Area. Prof. Dhillon is a doctoral student in Behavioral Sciences at IIM Calcutta and has recently submitted her thesis for the award of Fellow of IIMC. Her thesis work is on decision making and negotiation at the top management level in the context of implementation of innovation strategies in organizations. She is also interested in entrepreneurship, especially women entrepreneurship in developing countries, inequality (bottom of pyramid phenomena), group dynamics and leadership, and behavioural economics. Before starting her doctoral work in Behavioral Sciences at IIM Calcutta, she completed her Bachelors in Engineering (Honors) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh. Besides joining the Fellow Program at IIM Calcutta she has also worked for technology firms such as Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), CSIO (Central Scientific Instruments Organization) and ALSTOM Projects India Limited, India.
