Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview sessions based on their past academic records and CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT / WB-JEMAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at a city of their choice as specified by the candidate in their application form. The final selection will be based upon the candidate’s performance in Group Discussion, Personal Interview and past academic record. Along with these, work experience and other achievements will also be taken into account while offering them an admission to this course.
The institute has no active reservation policy at this time.
The Information Brochure and the ONLINE Admission Application Form has now been made available. Group Discussion, Personal Interview and other selection processes will commence from January 2018 onwards. The last date for the payment of the 1st Installment of Fees will be within one month of receiving the Admission Offer Letters or by June 30, 2018 (whichever comes first). No admission confirmation will be granted unless full amount of the 1st Installment of Fees is received by the Institute. The institute is expected to conduct an Engagement Program / Foundation Program in the month of June 2018. The dates for the same will be informed in the due course of time. The PGDM Session for the coming year is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2018.
To offer financial assistance to academically good students, CBS offers an attractive financial assistance ranging between Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 3,00,000.
As a reward for students’ hard work and efforts, CBS offers TWO scholarships of Rs. 25,000 each to all students securing the First and Second positions in each of the first, second and third trimesters.
Four (4) Research Assistantships (RAs) in Term IV, based on the students’ academic performance at the end of their 1st year (CGPA of 7 or more).
For continuation of RAship in Term V, students selected as RAs in Term IV will have to maintain a CGPA of 7 or more by the end of their 4th Term. Similarly, for continuation of RAship in Term VI, students who get selected as RAs in Term V will have to maintain a CGPA of 7 or more by the end of their 5th Term.
Those selected for RA positions will only have to pay 50% of their tuition fees for the term.
RAs will have to assist professors in their research work
i. Four (4) students will be selected for Tuition Waiver (TW) scholarships at the time of their entering the PGDM programme. The students selected for TW scholarships would have to meet the following two requirements:
a. 75% or more marks at the undergraduate level.
b. 85 percentile and above score in CAT 2017/XAT 2018.
The selected students would be required to pay 40% of the applicable Course Fees. Continuation of TW scholarship will depend on the academic performance (CGPA of 7 or more throughout) of the student.
ii. Students selected for TW scholarships would not be eligible for RA scholarships; however, interested students may associate with faculty members as research associates.
