“Graduation is the beginning of a new life. Embarking on these exciting steps, one should understand, one has to become the very best.” With these learning and lots more our Chief Guest Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan congratulated the Post Graduate students of batch 2013-15 and 2014-16 on 25th July, 2016 when Convocation was held by our college. The faculty members expressed their benedictions and affections for the students with their presence and participation in the program. Juniors exhilaratingly organized this event and contentment was noticeable in the eyes of spectators.
The event witnessed Prof. Siddharth Sengupta as the Master of the Ceremony. Chief Guest Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan andPrincipal Dr. TamalDatta Chaudhuri lit the Lamp in the beginning of the Event. Melodious SaraswatiVandana followed, which was sung in chorus by the 1st year students. The event then focused on conferring Degrees to the students. Students were then awarded with gold, and silver medals and certificates for their contribution to the vibrant College-life, towards the overall excellence, and for their best scores earned in their area of subjects in which they specialized. Proud parents delightfully clapped and cheered on the achievements of their children. Our Chief Guest Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan and Chairman Syt. S.K. Birla then enlightened us with their speech, shared valuable experiences with the students with lessons to stay strong in the real world, and emphasized that there are no straight pathswaitingafter this day. Chief Guest then advised students to understand the importance of the Four A’s namely;
Accomplishment :-Learn to deliver. One has to give results.
Affability :- One should keep relationships growing.
Advocacy :- One should possess the ability to sell products.
Authenticity :- Be what you are i.e., be true to yourself.
After congratulating the students on their successful completion of Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Chairmanannounced the end of the Convocation. This was followed by the National Anthem, sung by everyone present in the event.
