Eligibility
The minimum requirement for admission to the programme is a 3-years Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in any discipline from a recognized Indian or foreign University with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates appearing for final year Bachelor's degree examinations (or an equivalent examination) can also apply, provided they complete all degree requirements by September 30, 2011.
Procurement of Prospectus and Application Form
Candidates who wish to apply for admission to Calcutta Business School can follow any of the following two procedures for obtaining the Prospectus and Application Form:
Candidate can collect the Prospectus including the Application Form, in person by submitting a demand draft for Rs. 300/- or receive the Prospectus including the Application Form, by post, by sending a demand draft for Rs. 350/-
While applying, candidates should enclose a demand draft of Rs. 1200/- along with the completed application form with all enclosures.
Candidates have the option to download the Application Form from our website (www.calcuttabusinessschool.org). While applying with a downloaded application form, candidates should enclose a demand draft of Rs. 1500/- along with the completed application form with all enclosures. On receipt of the application form, a Prospectus will be forwarded to them by post, for which the candidate will have to pay Rs. 50, as courier charges.
The demand draft should be in favour of ‘Calcutta Business School', payable at Kolkata.

The Prospectus and Application Form will be issued in the name of the applicant who wishes to apply. The form is not transferable. CBS will not be responsible for the delay in receipt of the Prospectus / Application Form sent by courier / Speed Post. The fee for Prospectus and Application Form shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
For NRI / International candidates, the cost of Prospectus and Application Form together is US$60.

Selection Procedure
Candidate will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on their academic record, CAT / MAT / GMAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview in Kolkata. The final selection will be based on candidate's past academic record, overall performance in the Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and work experience.
